DUBAI – Dubai’s Eid Al Adha dining scene is set to welcome a new culinary experience as Mausam unveils Flavours of Royal India, a special Curry Week inspired by India’s historic royal kitchens.

Running from 26 May to 31 May, the limited-time menu has been designed as a festive gathering experience for families and friends during the holiday period. Available throughout the day, the offering marks the beginning of a broader culinary journey celebrating India's diverse food traditions.

Drawing inspiration from the regal food cultures of Awadh, Rajasthan and Hyderabad, the menu presents a collection of rich recipes, slow-cooked preparations and aromatic spice combinations associated with India's royal heritage.

Flavours of Royal India

Guests can explore signature dishes including Gosht Rezala, Murgh Begum Bahar and Machhli Jaisamandi, each reflecting regional influences and time-honoured cooking methods. The menu also features traditional favourites such as Maa Channe Ki Dal alongside freshly baked breads including Missi Roti and Khameeri Naan.

The experience begins with appetisers such as Nadru Ki Chaat, creating a festive spread intended for sharing. Prices for the Curry Week experience start from Dh45 onwards at the Dubai Mall restaurant.

New journey

The Eid offering also introduces Mausam’s new month-by-month culinary programme dedicated to exploring India’s regional cuisines. Each edition of the series is expected to spotlight a different destination, bringing together regional flavours, traditions and cultural influences through specially curated menus.

Part of Emaar Hospitality Group, Mausam blends traditional Indian cuisine with contemporary touches while showcasing heritage cooking techniques. Located at Dubai Mall with views of the Dubai Fountain, the restaurant draws inspiration from India’s festivals and changing seasons, creating a dining experience that evolves throughout the year.
